Objective
Guide each falling tetromino into place to fill and clear complete rows before the stack reaches the top. Rotate with ↺ / ↻, flip a half-turn with 180°, move with ◀ / ▶, and soft- or hard-drop with ▼ / ⤓ — every on-screen button doubles as a keyboard key (Z/X to rotate, Shift or F to flip, arrows to move, Space to hard-drop), shown right on the button. Clearing several rows with one piece scores far more than clearing them one at a time, and the pace speeds up every level.
How to play
- Tap ↺ Rotate CCW or ↻ Rotate CW to spin the falling piece a quarter-turn (on a keyboard: Z for counter-clockwise, ↑ or X for clockwise); tap 180° to spin it halfway around in one move (Shift or F).
- Tap ◀ / ▶ to shift the piece sideways (arrow keys on a keyboard), or hold ▼ / hold ↓ to soft-drop it faster — soft-dropping scores a small bonus for every row it falls.
- Tap ⤓ Hard Drop (Space bar) to slam the piece straight down onto the dashed ghost outline instantly, for the biggest drop bonus.
- Fill an entire horizontal row with blocks to clear it — clearing 2, 3, or 4 rows with a single piece scores far more than clearing them one at a time.
- Every 10 lines cleared advances your level, and pieces fall faster from then on.
- The game ends when the stack reaches the top of the well — a new run starts automatically a moment later.

About Tetris
Tetris here is the falling-block classic on a ten-wide, twenty-tall board. Pieces made of four squares drop from the top, and you slide and rotate them so they fill complete horizontal rows. A full row disappears and makes room. The pace quickens as you progress, so the game blends spatial planning with quick reactions. Buttons are on screen for touch play, and keyboard keys work too.
Tips and strategy
- Keep the surface flat. Avoid leaving holes under pieces, because a buried gap can block clearing rows for a long time.
- Check the Next preview before placing the current piece. Knowing what follows lets you leave the right-shaped space open.
- Use the dashed ghost outline to see exactly where a piece will land before you press Hard Drop.
- Save a narrow well on one side for the long straight piece. Clearing four rows at once scores far more than four single clears.
- Rotate while the piece is still high. The game nudges a turning piece sideways when it is near a wall, but you have more room higher up.
What it exercises
Tetris trains spatial planning, mental rotation and quick decision making. You judge how irregular shapes will fit together, anticipate the next piece, and adjust your plan as the speed rises, which gives steady practice in fast visual problem solving under time pressure.
Frequently asked questions
- What are the Tetris controls?
- On a keyboard use the left and right arrows to move, Z or X to rotate, Shift or F for a half turn, the down arrow to soft drop and Space to hard drop. Each on-screen button shows its matching key.
- How does scoring work in Tetris?
- Clearing 1, 2, 3 or 4 rows with one piece is worth 100, 300, 500 or 800 points, multiplied by your level. Soft dropping and hard dropping also add a few points per row the piece falls.
- When does the game get faster?
- The level goes up after every 10 cleared lines, and each level makes the pieces fall faster. The game ends when the stack reaches the top, and you can tap Retry to start again.

Symmetry Matrix
Complete the missing quadrant of a grid to achieve full mirror symmetry. Three quadrants are already given — the challenge is figuring out exactly what belongs in the missing one so the whole grid becomes perfectly symmetric.
One-Line Draw
Trace every line of a diagram in one continuous stroke without retracing any line. A classic 'Euler path' puzzle — the goal is tracing every edge of the diagram exactly once without lifting your finger or crossing a line twice.
Perspective Cube
Rotate a 3D wireframe cube in 90-degree steps to match a target orientation. Builds spatial rotation intuition — the goal is picturing how each 90-degree turn changes which face points where.
