Mind Skill Games — Sharpen Your Mind, One Game at a Time

Objective

Connect adjacent letters in a grid to spell valid words before time runs out. Only adjacent letters (including diagonals) can connect — the goal is racing to trace out as many real words as you can before time runs out.

How to play

  1. Tap a letter to start a word, then tap adjacent letters to extend it.
  2. Submit the word once you're happy with it.
  3. Find the target number of valid words before the timer runs out.

About Letter Weave

Letter Weave puts a small grid of letters in front of you and starts a countdown. Tap one letter, then tap neighbouring tiles to spell out a word, and submit it when you think it is real. Neighbours include diagonals, so words can twist across the grid in surprising ways. Finding the required number of words before the clock hits zero wins the round. It is a quick, tense game that rewards a good eye for letter combinations and a decent vocabulary.

Tips and strategy

  • Scan for common endings first. Letters that can finish a word, such as an S or an E tucked in a corner, give you an anchor to work backwards from.
  • Remember that a tile cannot be used twice inside the same word, so check that your path does not need to double back over a letter.
  • Words need at least three letters to be accepted, so do not waste a submit on a very short guess. Too-short and repeated words show an error message but keep your current path.
  • Only words from the game's own list count, so if a perfectly good word is rejected, clear it and move on rather than arguing with the grid. A rejected word also clears your path.
  • Use the Clear button to restart a path quickly. Trying several starting letters is usually faster than forcing a single stubborn route.

What it exercises

Letter Weave works vocabulary recall, pattern spotting among letters, and quick decision-making under a time limit. Tracing paths through a grid also uses visual scanning and spatial awareness, because you have to see which tiles touch each other before a word can be built.

Frequently asked questions

Do diagonal letters count as adjacent in Letter Weave?
Yes. A tile connects to any of the tiles surrounding it, including diagonals, as long as you have not already used it in the current word.
How many words do I need to find and how long do I have?
By default you need to find 4 words and the round lasts 60 seconds. The Found counter and the countdown above the grid keep you updated.
Why was my word not accepted?
The game only accepts words from its own built-in list for the grid. A real word can still be refused if it is not on that list, if it is shorter than three letters, or if you already found it.
