Objective
Complete the missing quadrant of a grid to achieve full mirror symmetry. Three quadrants are already given — the challenge is figuring out exactly what belongs in the missing one so the whole grid becomes perfectly symmetric.
How to play
- Study the three visible quadrants of the grid.
- Tap cells in the empty quadrant to fill them in.
- Match the pattern so the whole grid is symmetric in every direction.

About Symmetry Matrix
Symmetry Matrix shows a six-by-six grid of filled and empty squares in which the bottom-right quadrant is blank. The other three quadrants are given, and together they hint at a pattern that mirrors across both the vertical and horizontal middle lines. Your task is to switch on the right squares in the empty corner so the whole picture becomes balanced. It is a tidy visual puzzle for anyone who likes patterns.
Tips and strategy
- Look at the top-left quadrant first. The hidden corner is a mirror of it across the center, so the answer is already on the board.
- Compare the hidden corner with the top-right quadrant by flipping it up and down in your mind, and with the bottom-left by flipping it left to right.
- Work one row at a time. Read the row from the matching quadrant, then tap the same pattern, reversed, in the empty quadrant.
- Remember the corner is reflected, not copied. The square closest to the grid center matches the one closest to the center in the other quadrants.
- Tap a filled square again to switch it off. Use Check Symmetry only when your corner looks like a true reflection.
What it exercises
Symmetry Matrix trains visual pattern recognition and mental reflection, the ability to flip a shape in your head. It also encourages careful comparison across regions of an image, attention to small differences, and a methodical row-by-row approach to checking your own work.
Frequently asked questions
- How does Symmetry Matrix work?
- Three quadrants of a six-by-six grid are shown and the bottom-right one is empty. Tap squares in the empty quadrant to fill them in, then press Check Symmetry to see whether the full grid is symmetric.
- What kind of symmetry does the puzzle use?
- It is mirror symmetry across both the vertical and horizontal center lines, so each quadrant is a reflection of its neighbors. The hidden quadrant is the reflection of the top-left one.
- Can I start over if I make a mistake?
- Yes. The Reset button clears the squares you filled in the empty quadrant while keeping the same puzzle. You can also tap any square you filled to turn it back off.

Pac-Man
Guide Pac-Man through the maze, clearing every dot while dodging four ghosts — Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde. Grab one of the four flashing power pellets in the corners to turn the ghosts blue and hunt them for a few seconds, and use the side tunnel to slip from one wall straight out the other.
Color Flood
Flood the whole board with one color in as few moves as possible. Every tap floods outward from the corner, merging more of the board into one color — the goal is covering the whole board within a limited number of taps.
One-Line Draw
Trace every line of a diagram in one continuous stroke without retracing any line. A classic 'Euler path' puzzle — the goal is tracing every edge of the diagram exactly once without lifting your finger or crossing a line twice.
