About Go
Go is played here on a compact 9x9 board, ideal for quick games. You are Black and move first. Surround empty points and capture enemy groups; when neither side can improve, both pass and the area is counted with 5.5 komi for White.
Tips and strategy
- Start near the star points (the dots) and build shapes with room to make two eyes.
- A group with two separate eyes cannot be captured, so aim to make them.
- Keep your stones connected; cutting points are where games are won and lost.
- Before passing, capture any enemy stones that cannot live — area scoring counts them as alive.
- You cannot play a move that repeats an earlier board position (the ko/superko rule).
What it exercises
Go builds spatial reasoning, long-range planning and pattern recognition. Short 9x9 games let you practice the same ideas as the full board in a few minutes.
Frequently asked questions
- How is the winner decided?

- Yes. Press Play a friend, send the invite link and a chat opens for the two of you. You play Black and move first; your friend plays White. Friend games do not post to the leaderboard.
- Is there a leaderboard?
- Yes, wins against the computer post a score by difficulty and winning margin to the Top 5.

Slide cars out of the way to clear an exit path for the red car. Every car can only slide along its own row or column — the goal is clearing a path so the red car can slide all the way to the exit.
Reflex Beam
Place diagonal mirrors to redirect a laser beam into the target sensor. Only diagonal mirrors are available, so the goal is finding the placement that redirects the beam through exactly the right sequence of turns to reach the target.
Water Pouring Riddle
Measure an exact volume of water using three jugs of different capacities. A classic water-jug riddle — with only fill, empty and pour moves allowed, the goal is finding the exact sequence that leaves the target amount in a single jug.
