Three boxes are labeled 'Apples', 'Oranges', and 'Mixed'. Every box is incorrectly labeled. You may draw only one fruit from one box without looking inside. Which box should you pick from to correctly identify the contents of all three boxes?
The box labeled 'Mixed'
Since all boxes are mislabeled, the box marked 'Mixed' must contain only apples or only oranges. If you draw an apple from it, that box is 'Apples'. The box marked 'Oranges' cannot be oranges (mislabeled) nor apples (already found), so it must be 'Mixed'. The box marked 'Apples' must then be 'Oranges'.
