Three boxes are labeled 'Apples', 'Oranges', and 'Apples and Oranges', but every single label is guaranteed to be wrong. You are allowed to draw only one fruit from the box labeled 'Apples and Oranges'. After looking at that fruit, how can you correctly label all three boxes?
Draw from 'Apples and Oranges'. Whatever fruit you pull must be the only fruit actually in that box (since its label is wrong). If you pull an apple, that box is 'Apples'. Since the original 'Apples' box cannot be apples, it must be 'Oranges', leaving the remaining box as 'Apples and Oranges'.
Because all labels are incorrect, the 'Apples and Oranges' box actually contains only apples or only oranges. Pulling one fruit reveals its true single contents, and process of elimination handles the rest.
