Three identical boxes are labeled 'Apples', 'Oranges', and 'Apples and Oranges', but every single label is guaranteed to be incorrect. You are allowed to draw only one fruit from a single box of your choice to fix all the labels. Which box do you choose?
The box labeled 'Apples and Oranges'
Because all labels are wrong, the box labeled 'Apples and Oranges' cannot actually contain both fruits; it must contain exclusively apples or exclusively oranges. If you draw one fruit from that box, say an apple, you instantly know that box contains only apples. Since the original label was wrong, and the 'Oranges' label is also wrong, the remaining box logic easily falls into place.
