Three identical boxes are labeled 'Apples', 'Oranges', and 'Apples and Oranges'. Every single label is guaranteed to be incorrect. You are allowed to pull out just one piece of fruit from a single box of your choice to figure out all the correct labels. Which box do you choose?
The box labeled Apples and Oranges
Since all labels are wrong, the 'Apples and Oranges' box cannot actually contain both. Therefore, whatever single fruit you pull out of it must represent the *only* fruit type inside that box. If you pull an apple, that box is the 'Apples' box. Knowing that, and knowing the other labels are wrong, you can instantly deduce the rest.
