Three boxes are labeled 'Apples', 'Oranges', and 'Apples and Oranges'. Every single box is labeled incorrectly. You may draw just one piece of fruit from one box to correct all the labels. Which box do you choose?
The box labeled 'Apples and Oranges'
Since all boxes are labeled incorrectly, the box labeled 'Apples and Oranges' must contain *only* apples or *only* oranges. Drawing one fruit from it reveals its true contents. Suppose it yields an apple; therefore, that box is 'Apples'. The box labeled 'Oranges' cannot contain oranges (since labels are wrong), so it must contain 'Apples and Oranges'. The remaining box must contain 'Oranges'.
